Basketball Recap: Hobart Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Hobart lost against Hammond Morton back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hobart Brickies took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hammond Morton Governors.

Holland Harris was a one-man wrecking crew for Hammond Morton as he went 7 for 9 on his way to 19 points and seven boards. Those 19 points gave Harris a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of LeBron Hill, who posted nine points and six rebounds.

Hobart's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-10. As for Hammond Morton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Hobart has already played their next game, a 71-49 win against Wheeler on the 1st. As for Hammond Morton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 81-48 loss against Lawrence North on the 1st.
