Clark hasn't had much luck against Churchill recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cougars will be playing at home against the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Clark is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Clark's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 42-0 victory over LEE. The contest marked the Cougars' most dominant win of the season so far.

Isaiah Santillan looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 138 yards and three TDs while completing 81.8% of his passes. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024.
Clark didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Eli Abad, Carlos Camarillo, and Dom Moore picked up one apiece. Moore has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last six times he's played. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Churchill came up short against Madison on Friday and fell 24-16. While the Chargers had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Mavericks 13-3.
Clark will have to keep a close watch on Jayden Watkins and Kalobe Rond, a pair of players who had a big impact on Churchill's prior game. Watkins gained 97 total yards and a touchdown, while Rond rushed for 77 yards and one touchdown.
Clark's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Churchill, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Thursday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Clark has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 171.2 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Churchill, though, as they've been averaging only 74.5 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
