Softball Recap: Lincoln Park Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Lincoln Park was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against the Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack, falling 10-1. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Wolfpack recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lincoln Park saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Lincoln Park's loss dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-17.

Coming up, Lincoln Park will head out to challenge ITW David Speer Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Pride have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, they will host Amundsen at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolfpack's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
