Volleyball Recap: Fortuna Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fortuna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Fork Cubs. While the Huskies didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cubs 25-12 in the first set.

Fortuna actually scored more points across those five sets (103-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 17-25, 25-22, 25-23, 15-8.

Fortuna's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for South Fork, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fortuna will challenge Del Norte on the 18th. As for South Fork, they will face off against Hayfork at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
