Soccer Game Preview: Central vs. Metro Tech

Central is 0-3 against Metro Tech since January of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Central Bobcats will welcome the Metro Tech Knights at 4:00 p.m.

Central is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to Alhambra.

Meanwhile, Metro Tech had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Stampede. Four seems to be a good number for the Knights as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Metro Tech, their win bumped their record up to 3-7-1.

Central came up short against Metro Tech in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
