Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Port Isabel). Everything went their way against the Rio Hondo Bobcats on Monday as the Port Isabel Tarpons made off with a 5-1 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

Port Isabel moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Rio Hondo, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing La Feria the next time they take the pitch. Port Isabel will head out to face La Feria at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Rio Hondo will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
