Volleyball Game Preview: Bishop O'Connell Knights vs. Flint Hill Huskies

The Bishop O'Connell Knights will challenge the Flint Hill Huskies on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bishop O'Connell is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against St. Catherine's by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 17-25, 25-17.

Norfolk Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Flint Hill proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Bulldogs 3-0.

While Flint Hill won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 29-27.

The win got Flint Hill back to even at 13-13-1. As for Bishop O'Connell, their victory bumped their record up to 22-2.

Bishop O'Connell came out on top in a nail-biter against Flint Hill when the teams last played back in October, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
