Football Game Preview: Hillcrest Trojans vs. Valley View Eagles

The Hillcrest Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Valley View Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Hillcrest's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Rancho Christian on Thursday. They fell 7-0 to the Eagles. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Valley View lost to Poly on the road by a 28-10 margin on Friday.

Valley View's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for Hillcrest, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Hillcrest beat Valley View 24-14 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
