Softball Recap: Weed Comes Up Short

Weed lost against Trinity back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars came up short against the Wolves, falling 9-2. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Weed's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Weed didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-8 draw against Plumas Charter on the 28th. As for Trinity, they have also already played their next game, a 10-7 win against CORE Butte on the 28th.
