Basketball Recap: Viborg/Hurley Takes a Loss

Viborg/Hurley lost against Gayville-Volin back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Viborg/Hurley Cougars took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gayville-Volin Raiders.

Viborg/Hurley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Gayville-Volin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Viborg/Hurley Cougars duke it out with the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gayville-Volin, they will host Burke at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
