Soccer Recap: Scott Takes a Loss

Scott came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-0 to the Nitro Wildcats. The shutout was out of character for Scott seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Scott now has a losing record of 7-8-3. As for Nitro, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-0-2.

The future could be bright for both Scott and Nitro: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Skyhawks will look to extend Mingo Central's three-game losing streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nitro will try to hand Ravenswood their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
