Soccer Recap: Howard Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten goals the game before, Howard was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 9-0 to the Harlem Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 318th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 55th).

Howard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Harlem, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Coincidentally, Howard and Harlem will both be playing Cross Creek the next time they take the pitch. Howard will head out to face Cross Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Harlem will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
