Islands had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top against the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Sharks also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Islands took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15.

Islands' win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Southeast Bulloch, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Coincidentally, Islands and Southeast Bulloch will both be playing Windsor Forest the next time they take the court. The Yellow Jackets will head out to face the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Sharks will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
