Basketball Game Preview: Clarkston Angoras vs. Loganville Red Devils

Having just played yesterday, the Clarkston Angoras will jump right back in to play the Loganville Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Clarkston has given up an average of 72.2 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Clarkston is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Tucker on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Angoras had to suffer through a 90-39 loss at the hands of the Tigers. The Angoras were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-20.

Meanwhile, Loganville took care of business in their home opener last Tuesday. They came out on top against Oconee County by a score of 74-66.

Clarkston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Loganville, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Clarkston lost to Loganville on the road by a decisive 72-57 margin in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. Can the Angoras avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
