Thousand Oaks is a perfect 9-0 against Agoura since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lancers will face off against the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Wednesday, Thousand Oaks didn't have quite enough to beat Westlake and fell 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Lancers in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Thousand Oaks started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-21, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Agoura came up short against Oaks Christian on Wednesday and fell 3-1. While the Chargers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 25-14 in the first set.

Agoura started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-23.

Agoura has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Thousand Oaks, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-12.

Thousand Oaks came out on top in a nail-biter against Agoura when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
