Uplift had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Englewood Stem Panthers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Uplift easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14.

Uplift's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Englewood Stem, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Uplift and Englewood Stem could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Titans will face off against MCC at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (524 vs. 153). Meanwhile, Englewood Stem (ranked 691st) will meet Woodlawn (ranked 301st) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
