E.L. Haynes faced Roosevelt in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. E.L. Haynes came out on top against Roosevelt by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but E.L. Haynes sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

E.L. Haynes easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-18.

E.L. Haynes' victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Roosevelt, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Coming up, E.L. Haynes will square off against Paul Public Charter International at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roosevelt, they will challenge MacArthur at 5:00 p.m. on October 7.
