Volleyball Recap: Indian Hill Comes Up Short

Indian Hill lost against Wyoming back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Braves came up short against the Cowboys, falling 3-0. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Indian Hill's offense was headlined by Mallory Thomas and Brooklyn Kinsley, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Sophie Qiao and her 15 assists. Thomas also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lily Levental, racking up two apiece.

Indian Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Wyoming, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Indian Hill is set to take on their familiar foe Mariemont at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Wyoming will face off against rival Taylor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
