Volleyball Recap: Boulder Creek Takes a Loss

Boulder Creek lost against Pinnacle back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jaguars came up short against the Pioneers, falling 3-0. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Boulder Creek was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-22.

Halo Sinanovic paced Boulder Creek's offense, picking up six kills. Sinanovic got some help from Layla Bruhn and her six assists. Finally, Tarynn Wilson-Tooyak kept Boulder Creek's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Boulder Creek's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Pinnacle, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

Boulder Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against O'Connor on the 30th. As for Pinnacle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Xavier College Prep on the 30th.
