Volleyball Recap: Mililani Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wai'anae last Thursday, Mililani came back down to earth. The Mililani Trojans fell just short of the Waipahu Marauders by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Marauders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Mililani actually scored more points across those five sets (110-106), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 19-25, 20-25, 26-24, 16-14.

Mililani has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. The win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Mililani will face off against Kapolei at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waipahu, they will head out on the road to square off against 'Aiea at 6:30 p.m. on March 27th.
