Newport - Bellevue fell victim to Woodinville and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Woodinville Falcons by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Knights have suffered against the Falcons since April 8, 2019.

Max Higbee was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

Newport - Bellevue's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Woodinville, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
