Basketball Recap: Clearview's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Clearview had won two straight games and Quavion Grant did his part to make it three on Friday. The Clearview Clippers came out on top against the Wellington Dukes by a score of 56-43 thanks in part to Grant, who went 10-for-11 on his way to 25 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jeffery Ball, who posted two points in addition to eight assists and three steals. He is becoming a predictor of Clearview's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is 7-3 (and 5-6 when he doesn't).

Clearview's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Wellington, they dropped their record down to 3-16 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home.

Clearview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 52-40 loss against Columbia on the 15th. As for Wellington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-34 defeat against Keystone on the 17th.
