Soccer Game Preview: Chapel Hill vs. Paris

Chapel Hill is 0-10 against Paris since February of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Red Devils will host the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Chapel Hill has given up an average of 6.3 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Chapel Hill came up short against Pittsburg on Friday, falling 8-2. Chapel Hill were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Paris took on North Lamar on Tuesday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Panthers who were credited with the win. North Lamar got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Paris' three.

Paris' defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-6. As for Chapel Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1.

Chapel Hill might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Paris in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
