Basketball Game Preview: Kenedy Lions vs. Pettus Eagles

The Kenedy Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Pettus Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kenedy will head into Friday's game on the come-up: they were handed a 24-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Skidmore-Tynan, sneaking past 40-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since January 17, 2024.

Meanwhile, Pettus hadn't done well against Three Rivers recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Pettus rang in the new year with a 42-35 victory over Three Rivers.
