Volleyball Recap: Westover Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Westover was the 3-0 winner over Douglas Byrd when they last played one another back in December of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolverines fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Westover actually scored more points across those five sets (104-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 22-25, 10-25, 25-19, 25-23, 15-12.

Westover's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Douglas Byrd, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Westover will challenge rival St. Pauls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Douglas Byrd is set to take on their familiar foe South View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
