Baseball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial managed to slip by Putnam the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 11-1 to the Kingsmen on Tuesday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Kingsmen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

With the loss, Centennial broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-17. As for Putnam, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-13.

While Centennial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
