Basketball Recap: South Forsyth Comes Up Short

After flying high against Forsyth Central last Monday, South Forsyth came back down to earth. The South Forsyth War Eagles came up short against the North Forsyth Raiders on Tuesday, falling 66-46. While losing is never fun, the War Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Raiders are ranked ninth).

South Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for North Forsyth, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 23-0.

South Forsyth will square off against Alpharetta at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Forsyth, they will welcome Forsyth Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in North Forsyth's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 19 matchups.
