Volleyball Recap: Whitehall's Loss Ends 15-Game Winning Streak at Home

Whitehall dropped their record down to 17-5 on Thursday, which also ended the team's 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They fell just short of the Freedom Patriots by a score of 3-2. The Zephyrs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

As for Freedom, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since March 27th.

Joe Braun produced another solid performance getting 15 digs, ten kills, and two blocks. He has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 34 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ben Soleymani, who had ten blocks and eight kills.

Whitehall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Freedom, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Emmaus on the 27th.
