Softball Recap: Novato Takes a Loss

Novato was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 4-1 to the San Marin Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-5 back in April.

Novato saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Giana Flores, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Novato's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for San Marin, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Novato nor San Marin have any future games scheduled.
