Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask George County). They came out on top against the East Central Hornets by a score of 67-55 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won three in a row.

East Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brody Howard, who posted 14 points along with five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Ramassini, who earned nine points and five rebounds.

The victory got George County back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, George County will welcome Richton at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Central, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Faith Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
