Basketball Recap: Labette County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Chanute last Friday, Labette County came back down to earth. The Labette County Grizzlies took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Scott Tigers on Monday. The game marked the Grizzlies' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Labette County's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Fort Scott, their win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fort Scott beat Labette County by a score of 51-40 later that day.
