Softball Recap: All Saints' Academy Comes Up Short

If All Saints' Academy was feeling good fresh off their 19-1 takedown of Discovery last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saints came up short against the Mulberry Panthers on Tuesday, falling 20-2. The Saints were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2017.

All Saints' Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Skylynn Gaskin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

All Saints' Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Mulberry, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

All Saints' Academy will be taking part in a tournament against First Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mulberry, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McKeel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
