Softball Recap: Jefferson Find Success

Jefferson's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They skirted past the Bel Air Highlanders 5-4. This was payback for the Silver Foxes, who suffered a 21-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Elizabella Qui?onez was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (three). Gianna Ruiz was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Bel Air, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will square off against Austin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Bel Air, they will face off against Ysleta at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
