Episcopal extends home winning streak to seven

The Episcopal Knights came tearing into Saturday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past St. Stephen's Episcopal 53-28. Given Episcopal's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while St. Stephen's Episcopal is ranked 542nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Episcopal pushed their record up to 21-4 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.
Episcopal and The Awty International will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The Awty International is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, they will head out on the road to face off against Hyde Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
