Baseball Recap: Floyd Central Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Floyd Central's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Hazard Bulldogs on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 back in April.

Floyd Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season. As for Hazard, they moved to 15-18 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Floyd Central will venture away from home to challenge Magoffin County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hazard, they will head out to face off against Clay County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
