Preview: Ingram Moore Warriors vs. Llano Yellowjackets
Ingram Moore is 1-7 against the Yellowjackets since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Ingram Moore Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Llano Yellowjackets at 6:15 p.m. Ingram Moore will be strutting in after a victory while the Yellowjackets will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Ingram Moore earned a 31-19 victory over the Buffaloes.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Llano's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 34-33 to Brady. Llano has not had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Llano's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Amelia Robinson, who scored 11 points, and Ciara Hays who scored nine points.
Ingram Moore's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-16. As for Llano, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-17.
Ingram Moore couldn't quite finish off the Yellowjackets in their previous meeting back in January and fell 24-21. Can Ingram Moore avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
