Xander Griffith Game Report: vs Del Oro

Passers beware: Xander Griffith came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also picked up 22 receiving yards, helping propel Taft past Del Oro by a score of 28-27. We hope Griffith's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Griffith and Taft will challenge Tehachapi at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 413 places lower in California), but they're not letting that get them down.
