Baseball Recap: Gila Bend's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Gila Bend and Wickenburg Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Gila Bend had to settle for second. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lion. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Gila Monsters couldn't push the score so high this time.

Gila Bend saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rogellio Villegas, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Villegas has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
