Baseball Recap: Waconia Gets the Win

Waconia posted their closest win since May 17, 2025 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Duluth East Greyhounds. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Waconia's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Duluth East, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coincidentally, Waconia and Duluth East will both be playing Maple Grove the next time they take the field. The Greyhounds will head out to face the Crimson on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
