Soccer Game Preview: Keller vs. Prosper

The Keller Indians will be taking part in a tournament against the Prosper Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Keller is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Loyola just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. 2025 welcomed they with a 3-0 loss courtesy of the Cubs. The loss was the Indians' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Prosper unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Duncanville by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

Having lost for the first time this season, Keller fell to 3-1. As for Prosper, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Keller came up short against Prosper in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Keller avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
