Football Recap: Lewis Academy Triumphs

Lewis Academy and Falls City pushed the score to 54-6 the last time they played Falls City, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Watchmen never let the Mountaineers get on the board and left with a 21-0 win. This was payback for the Watchmen, who suffered a 54-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lewis Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Falls City, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lewis Academy will take on rival Alsea at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Falls City is set to face off against their familiar foe Jewell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
