Basketball Recap: Palmetto Victorious

Mater Academy Charter came into Friday's game looking for another win against Palmetto, but Santiago Henriquez wouldn't allow it. The Palmetto Panthers secured a 63-57 W over the Mater Academy Charter Lions on Friday thanks in part to Henriquez, who went 10 of 21 en route to 33 points along with seven assists and seven boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Palmetto's points.

Another player making a difference was Sebastian Madera, who posted six points and eight rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times he's played.

Palmetto's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Mater Academy Charter, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-12.
