Football Recap: Western Comes Up Short

Western lost against Twin Lakes back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers fell 22-15 to the Indians.

Levi Shoemaker threw for 107 yards and one touchdown. Maddox Williams was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards and one TD.

Twin Lakes got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Need out in front who picked up 110 receiving yards and one score. The team also got some help courtesy of Ledger Shaffer, who picked up 59 receiving yards and one TD.

Western's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Twin Lakes, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Western has already played their next game, a 20-14 victory against West Lafayette on the 24th. As for Twin Lakes, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 36-20 win against Maconaquah on the 24th.
