Soccer Game Preview: Laurel vs. North Forrest

The Laurel Golden Tornadoes will head out on the road to square off against the North Forrest Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Laurel has given up an average of 4.8 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Laurel is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Thursday. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Pike.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, North Forrest was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They came up short against Loyd Star, falling 6-0.

Laurel's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15-1. As for North Forrest, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Laurel was able to grind out a solid win over North Forrest in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Tornadoes since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
