Basketball Recap: Carlson Takes a Loss

Carlson lost against Woodhaven back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Carlson Marauders took a 56-40 bruising from the Woodhaven Warriors. The game marked the Marauders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Carlson lost, don't look at Austin Saavedra. Despite the final result, he posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Trent Ison, who put up seven points and six rebounds.

Carlson dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Woodhaven, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Edsel Ford the next time they take the court. Woodhaven will host Edsel Ford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Carlson will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
