Volleyball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Perris Panthers. If the Lancers were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-14.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Perris, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lakeside will take on rival Orange Vista at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Perris is set to square off against their familiar foe Heritage at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
