Basketball Recap: Hammond Morton Gets the Win

Hammond Morton won the last time they faced Hobart, and Holland Harris did his part to make sure it happened again. The Hammond Morton Governors came out on top against the Hobart Brickies by a score of 59-48 on Friday thanks in part to Harris, who went 7 for 9 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

LeBron Hill was another key player, putting up nine points and six boards. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played.

Hammond Morton's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Hobart, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Hammond Morton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 81-48 loss against Lawrence North on the 1st. Hobart has also already played their next game, a 71-49 victory against Wheeler on the 1st.
