Volleyball Recap: Schaumburg Comes Up Short

Schaumburg was the 2-0 winner over South Elgin when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Saxons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm on Saturday.

Schaumburg's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for South Elgin, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Schaumburg will venture away from home to square off against Hoffman Estates at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Elgin, they will head out to take on West Aurora at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Storm their first taste of in-conference action this season.
