Volleyball Recap: North Park Comes Up Short

North Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangely Panthers. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

North Park started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-23, 25-18, 25-18.

Leading Rangely to victory were Rylee Kenney and Addison Scott. Kenney had three digs and two aces, while Scott had 23 digs, eight kills, and two aces. Scott has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last seven times she's played.

North Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Rangely, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.

North Park has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Hayden on the 18th. As for Rangely, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Olathe on the 18th.
