Football Recap: Robertsdale Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Robertsdale had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 4-7 to make it four. They were outmatched by the Daphne Trojans and fell 60-13. While losing is never fun, the Golden Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Trojans are ranked 15th).

Cub Jones threw for 157 yards on 14 of 26 attempts. Brandon Clayton was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards. On the ground, Micah Hardy rushed for 91 yards.

As for Daphne, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Considering they have won five games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Daphne to victory, but perhaps none more so than Christian Segar, who threw for 260 yards and four touchdowns while completing 91.7% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Segar a new career-high in passer rating (170.1). LaBrayln Williams was another key pass catcher, gaining 126 total yards and three touchdowns.

As of now, neither Robertsdale nor Daphne have any future games scheduled.
